For over 10 years I’ve documented my journey on this blog; from the marriage process, applying for a Spouse Visa (and multiple subsequent renewals), to finally securing Permanent Residence.
Much has changed in the past decade. Most notably, there’s far more information available online, including the PR Guidelines released by Immigration in September 2025. This should make things smoother for foreign spouses navigating the system today.
Since I will no longer need to make regular visits to Immigration, I won't be keeping up to date with any changes to the procedures, so will not be updating the blog.
